“ I have a Facebook friend who is a frequent patron at the Aloha Grill. Because I see his posts all the time, I wanted to try the place. Upon going in, you have to walk up a flight of stairs (there is an elevator on the side), and you are greeted by a big Tiki. It looks like a tiki bar/sports bar. To the left is where they serve alcohol. To the right are booths and tables. We've been on both sides. I love their French toast, though it is a small portion and it comes ala carte. If you want eggs and sausage, you have to order that on the side. Husband likes their loco moco. The waiter Chris is very nice and he's a Greenbay Fan like my husband. The owner is chill, too. The times I've gone to the Aloha Grill it was fairly slow, so I hope this review helps make them more recognized for breakfast and not just beer o'clock. They have delicious food. ”
“ 5 stars for nostalgia. I just had to do it. All you people that know what I'm talking about, just go back. Clearly I don't live in HB anymore, but just said why not. Rainbow drink will do it. The bartender was super cool, vibe still there. Don't be scared, live it up. Ps. I didn't try the food. ”
“ Always a fun experience. Not sure who works the door anymore, but back in 2012-2015 I was always nicely greeted with a colorful Lei. I may have eaten there, but I normally went for the view and Frozen Rainbows ”
“ I am so pleased with the service. They customized the poke bowl for me since I don't eat raw fish and it was delicious!!! Thank you Jose and April!!! ”
“ Nice place at the second floor on the Main street. Was looking for some sea food while in Huntington Beach but choice was limited. This one look promising. Went upstairs and inside smelled weird. So we decided to sit on balcony where we could see the main street. There was only one waiter and who was also a bartender so we wait for a second. The guy was super nice but we waited for our good. I had panko fried Mahi Mahi that came with sticky rice and vegetable which was ok. And husband has ahi tuna . Kids took burger from kids menu, which was plain with ni sauce, only onion lettuce and tomato. The meat was good but overall burger wasn't very eatable. But fries was very good. Price range is from 16-30 dollars. Appetizers was expensive, we took 2 spam subie and there were ok, and the sauce that comes with subie was delicious (sweet and sour) ”
“ Nice little rooftop lookout is the perfect place to enjoy a rainbow frozen cocktail near the beach and watch the market below. ”
“ Good food. Good drinks. Good prices. Good view. Good spot to check out during the day. ”
“ I met some friends at Aloha Grill to have dinner and watch a hockey game. I know they are known for their unique rainbow drink but I had recently seen a picture of their margarita flight which looked amazing and I wanted to try that. It arrived at the table and looked great, just like the picture. The size of each drink is pretty generous with a nice mix of different flavors. Kudos to bartender Vinny who mixed them perfectly, just the right balance of tequila and flavor. The Aloha is a mix of coconut and pineapple, a very good margarita like I had never tasted had before. I always love a good steak but whenever I eat by the beach I like to have fish so I tried the panko crusted mahi-mahi. It had great flavor, was a nice sized piece of fish, and the capers were a great addition. I was surprised at how good and fresh the veggies were. I complimented the server on them, and he said that they have fresh produce brought in every other day. The restaurant is located less than two blocks from the beach right on Main street. If there are no parking spots available on the street, there are several public parking garages less than a block away on Olive that are very reasonably priced with some initial free time. It is upstairs, has a fun Hawaiian island vibe, and has a great view up and down Main street from above. Most of the seats on the balcony were taken, and there is a window from the bar to the balcony so you don't have to go back inside to order drinks or food. I definitely want to go back and sit on the balcony to people watch and watch all of the exotic cars that are always driving up and down Main street. They have a lot of big screen TVs and it's definitely a good place to watch sports. The bathrooms are also very clean and look like they were recently renovated. Fun place! ”
“ Great place to come out and get some sun, enjoy the views and some tasty bites. Really great service, prompt, accurate and friendly. ”
“ I have never eaten here before but have been twice. Solely for their infamous Rainbow drinks. They are so pretty and make for a great photo! ;-) They sure are tasty and can sneak up on you so be careful. Wednesdays they are only $8 each!! ”
